A Day at the Bicentennial Mall State Park

I started making a list of fun places to take Charlotte! Today we started the day headed out to a BEAUTIFUL park right smack dab in downtown Nashville.. Who would have known that there was such a wonderful place hidden right behind the State Capital building!! Our sweet friends Jennifer, Emily and Nate met us there!! Nate is 9 weeks old and slept the ENTIRE time..So Jennifer and I were able to catch up while Charlotte and Emily played with chalk, chased bubbles, explored the park and carried on their own little conversation! The two are only 7 weeks apart with Emily the older one. Thanks for a perfect day!

Spring has sprung at our house...here is the proof :-)

The first day of Spring 2010 we spent some time outside enjoying the beautiful day and warm weather. I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the beauty of spring. Reason #200 why living on a little over 3 acres ROCKS!!

Today I am very proud to say that other then our early Sunday morning show "Sunday Mornings" we managed to keep the TV off all day!!!! That is until about 7pm. But, for those of you that know my husband you know that my friends is a record!!!!!! We went to the park and had lunch today then headed back home for a blissful nap..Then it was exploration time! Right in our own backyard :-) I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy some sunshine this weekend...Off to the zoo in the morning to meet up with some very special friends!

Lego's!!!!!!! Woohoo LEGO'S

When my sister and I were little we had a few small cans of Lego's that we played with on several occassions... But, Blake on the other hand, had every Lego set that ever came out from like 79' thru 93'. Which means he played with them from 5 years old until he was about 19. With a few purchase since then. So, while out to get a few things from Target Thursday Blake bought Charlotte her first Lego set!! Technically it is a Duplo Lego set but none the less it is her first Lego set!! Which makes daddy VERY happy :=) We started our Saturday morning breaking open her set... She already LOVES them..And so does Blake! I hope everyone is enjoying our amazing weather here in middle Tennessee!

Yeah for the ZOO!!! Our first visit 2010 :=)

We visited the zoo last weekend and it was such a perfect day!!! We started out with the meerkats and then we made our way to the "Hidden World" to explore all the fish, snakes, jellyfish ect.....

Last year we visited the zoo several times but this visit was the truly exciting visit!! We were very laid back and just wondered whatever direction Charlotte headed...We found ourselves at the petting zoo and we all were excited!! We came prepared with plenty of hand sanitizer so into the petting zoo we went!! Charlotte loved LOVED the goats!!! And one of the "baby goats" or "kids" really loved Charlotte's shirt. I thought Charlotte was going to fall over she was laughing so hard while the goat was attached to her shirt!! We should have more totally relaxing, clam not to mention BEAUTIFUL days more often...

Happy 1st Birthday Gage!!

The second photo session for today was with sweet baby Gage. His 1st birthday is only a few short days away! I work with Gage's mom at Vanderbilt in the NICU. She asked me a few weeks ago if I would mind taking Gage's 12 months pictures and of coarse I said YES! So here is a Sneak Peek of Gage's photo session. It was truly an honor to take such special pictures of very handsome little guy. Thanks to anyone out there checking out my pictures. I have TONS yet still to learn but that will always be the case I'm sure. My mom would be proud :-) xoxo

Meet Skye! She is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old full of personality....

Today was busy! I had two photo sessions set up for today. The 1st session started with Miss Skye :-) I came prepared with balloons and bubbles! However, Skye's mom put it best when she said "Skye is TO smart for her own britches!" She was right but, with a strawberry ice cream cone and the freedom to play around and do whatever she wanted (that was safe of coarse) this photo session when off without a hitch! I'm so thankful to have been asked to capture her spunky personality! Thanks so much Jamey and I hope you enjoy your Sneak Peek!
