Today I met the sweetest little baby girl! She was a rockstar for her newborn pictures :-) Congratulations, Megan and Ryan! Your daughter is precious and it was so great to spend the afternoon with you all.

Samuel Wrigley | 12 months old

Little Samuel had his first birthday just a few weeks ago! And boy has the time flown by. Samuel was my very first newborn session and I was lucky enough to be working the day he was born so I captured a few pictures of him at the hospital too! He has grown into a very sweet, handsome little man. It has been so awesome to watch him grow!!

Little Miss Kathleen | 6 months old

I think you will agree that this little girl is such a cutie pie! Today we meet up and took her 6 month pictures and she was quite the little ham. I just love all her expressions and sweet face. You may remember her 3 month shoot and how adorable she was :-) I look forward to watching her grow over the next 6 months!

Mule Day 2011 :-)

What a beautiful Saturday! All 3 of us have shiny red noses to prove it. We have lived in Tennessee for almost 13 years and we have been to Mule Day 4 times. Today, was the best one to date. I think having a precious 2 1/2 year old to share the experience with makes all the difference :-) Here a just a few pictures from our fun day, I hope you enjoy them!

It has been a long time since I've posted something personal :-) But Blake and I both felt that it was time we shared with our family and friends that we have a sweet little baby that will meet us later this year. I am 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant and finally starting to feel "semi" normal again. Over the last few months I have been laying very low. Thanks to everyone for understanding if I have been a little MIA. Blake has been amazing!!! Which is a complete understatement. From laundry to cookingThe poor guy has had to drink instant coffee for weeks just so I don't have to smell the coffee brewing. For his sake I hope we can have "real" brewed coffee in our house one day very soon! As of now our due date is September 30th. Which would make a 3 year and 2 month age difference between Charlotte and the baby. To say that Charlotte is excited would be an understatement. She has been gracious enough to tell the lady at the post office, the receptionist at the doctor, the owner of a cafe we regular at and several moms at the playground. It was scary for Blake and I both to decide to have a 2nd child because our life seems so complete just the way it was. The thought of how having another baby and how it would effect Charlotte was really the scariest part. She is a very nurturing soul and is really the sweetest little thing we are excited for her to become a big sister and have this special sibling to be there with her for the rest of her life! We know that it will be far from easy and even further from perfect but we will LOVE every minute of the journey. As with my first pregnancy, we will not be finding out the gender of this sweet baby. I know that is hard for most people to imagine and we both understand that. However, we love the suspense of the surprise :-) Thanks for following my blog and the work I do shooting pictures. I will be slowing down over the next few months preparing for this sweet baby.. We will have another ultrasound in the beginning of May so check back to see how much our baby will have changed.

Do you remember these precious twins from there newborn session back in November? 3 months goes fast!

Meet Miss Violet! She was about 6 weeks old when I met her earlier in February. Precious!

This session was also back in early February! Miss Emma Claire turned 1. You may remember her newborn session last May :-) She was really about 4 months old at that time but she was born at 24 weeks gestation so she has come a LONG way!

Baby Callen is 6 Months old? Where does time go.... It feels like just yesterday I was setting up for his newborn session and shortly after that we had his 3 month session..What a cutie he is :-) xoxo
