Please tell me which one is your favorite!!

What a beautiful day! We had such a busy day but by 5 o'clock we managed to get outside and play..We went to the Woodlawn park here in Columbia and also stopped for some pictures on the way.. We are working on getting pictures of Charlotte to enter in a casting call!! We are very excited and anxious to get just the right picture. Please let me know which one of these pictures is your favorite..Charlotte had a great time letting me shoot them while she ran around like every little crazy toddler should! Especially on a day like today.. Thanks for checking out my new pictures and letting me know what you think.. I hope everyone has a fantastic week and that you are able to savor the beginning of fall..that is what we will be doing!

Practicing with my new lens

I'm starting to figure this out....

Well, it has taken a dozen attempts to upload an image but I finally figured out how to upload one and make it large....The question is now can I upload another one the same way?? I will find out soon enough..So the one of the reasons i decided to start a blog is to see if I can really figure it out.. Also, I have always enjoyed taking pictures. Secretly I have always wanted to know how to take GOOD pictures.. We have had a really nice camera for many years.. A Nikon D50. We also have a few nice lenses. Until recently I haven't paid either much attention. I am always taking pictures of Charlotte and working on ways to improve my skills. I have my first photo class tonight. It is nothing fancy but I'm hoping that it will guide me in the right direction.. I will keep you posted on that.. It is a series of 3 classes for 3 weeks...I'm taking it with a good friend Lyza. She and I both enjoy photography. We both had our first babies last August only days apart. And since then we have become great friends. Since our little ones have been born we have been capturing their every change on video and in pictures. We also have been paying professionals to take many of these pictures. Since we both have great cameras and a will to learn it only made sense for us to do this together... Stay tuned to see our progress......

My first day blogging....

So today I decided to start a blog.. I'm not sure why? But, I hope over time I will learn how the whole "blogging" world works. I will upload pictures soon of my sweet family! I just have to learn how!!
